Dogs are welcome in all our lodges.
We wish to provide a safe and happy place for you and your dog, as well as our other guests.
We have walking routes, walking suggestions and play dates. Your accommodation and the property has plenty of wide open spaces for playing and we have a walking trail to exercise even the fittest of dogs! A short drive from the lodges are a wide range of pet friendly walking trails (please note that dogs in the town of Golden must be on leash). Please see the guest book in your lodge for more information, or ask for suggestions.
Dogs are welcome to be off leash if they are still in your control, e.g. they return when called, don’t run up to other guests and do not go in the horse fields. No one wants to see a dog get kicked or a horse hurt itself from running away. Please understand that our other guests may not be dog lovers too, and we do have wildlife in the area, so your dog(s) should be kept close at all times. There is also a resident dog at Mount 7 Lodges.
We don’t want to hear your dog barking as our other guests are here for a peaceful vacation.
Please bring your own dog bed and towels for wiping muddy paws.
Please use doggie waste bags to ensure we keep Mount 7 Lodges as beautiful as when you arrived.
You can leave your dog in the lodge as long as the dog is happy to be left. Our needs as accommodation owners are the same as yours as pet owners; that you will come back to the lodge to find a happy dog who has not damaged anything. Please do not let your dogs on the beds at any time.
The hot tub covers are not for standing on, they are expensive to replace and are not as strong as they look. Please don’t let the dog on the deck if they are going to stand on the hot tub cover.
Please note that we service the lodge hot tubs on a regular basis and if your dog is going to be aggressive or upset about our staff accessing the hot tub, please let us know in advance.
Dog charges are $25 per dog per night up to a maximum of $100 per dog per stay. Please select this option in the Supplements section when making your booking.
