Depending on the size of your group, choose one (or more) of our lodges.  With the Deer Lodge and Red Fox Lodge suitable for two to four people, or our large three bedroom Bear Lodge which can sleep eight people, we have a lodge to suit your group.

All lodges are self catering, with fully equipped kitchens, spacious living areas, and your own private hot tub to ensure you can relax in comfort.

White Water Rafting

The Kicking Horse River offers rapids from class II to class IV. In the upper and middle canyons you’ll start out slowly, then the intensity picks up until you’re paddling through class III to IV rapids. For even more excitement, you can heli-raft the lower canyon.  Starting with a helicopter flight to the start, the lower canyon has intense class IV rapids and deep canyon walls – the longest succession of class IV rapids in Western Canada.

Tandem Paragliding

Mount 7 rises up behind the lodges and offers a world class site for paragliding and hang gliding. For more than twenty years the superb Mount 7 flying site has hosted pilots from across North America and around the world.

For those with no experience, Altitude Adventures offer tandem flights suitable for absolute beginners keen to get a spectacular view of the area and experience the thrill of flying. Many guests have enjoyed tandem paragliding flights and have marvelled at the aerial view of Mount 7 Lodges and the thrill of a lifetime.

Via Ferrata

Experience the Via Ferrata at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Located on the north face of Terminator Peak, these protected climbing routes are accessible via the Golden Eagle Express.

ATV Tours (Quad Bike Rides) in Golden are offered by our partners Canadian Offroad Adventures with different options depending on what you want to do, and how long you have.

Downhill Mountain Biking

For downhill mountain biking enthusiasts, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort offers 3700 feet of vertical. Accessed by a gondola ride to the top you are then greeted with a wide range of downhill trails.

Above the lodges, the Mount 7 network has become a downhill mecca. With over 4,500 vertical feet of shuttle or heli-access riding, it is the prime place for big bikes.
